What this policy covers
It covers personal data collected through this website and through enquiries you send to the desk. If we later work together, the scope note may add practical detail about the company documents you share. Those documents are handled under the engagement as well as under this policy. This policy does not describe a different, hidden set of practices.
Data we collect
If you send the contact form, we receive the fields you submit: name, email address, organization if you provide it, phone number if you provide it, the service you select, your message, and your confirmation that we may reply. We also receive a security token that belongs to your browsing session, so the form can be checked for forgery.
If you email us directly, we receive whatever you put in that email, including the address you send from.
The hosting server may keep ordinary access logs, such as IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser type. Those logs are for security and operation. We do not add a separate analytics product, and we do not build advertising profiles.
The cookie that remembers your cookie choice stores only that choice: accept all, or essential only. What that means in practice is described in the Cookie Policy, because this site does not set analytics or marketing cookies in either case.
Why we use it
- To answer the enquiry you sent, and to prepare a scope if the work fits the desk.
- To carry out an administration engagement you have accepted.
- To protect the form against cross-site forgery, using a session cookie.
- To remember the cookie choice you made.
- To keep the site secure and to diagnose faults, using host access logs.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not send it to data brokers.
How long we keep it
The session cookie lasts until you close the browser. The cookie-choice cookie lasts 180 days, unless you change or delete it sooner.
An enquiry that does not become an engagement is kept only as long as we need it to answer you and to deal with any follow-up. You may ask us to delete it. If we work together, correspondence and the file are kept for the life of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can answer questions about the work. We do not keep data “just in case” beyond that.
Host access logs are kept for the period the hosting provider uses for security. We do not copy them into a marketing database.
Who else handles it
Email and website hosting are provided by infrastructure suppliers who process technical data so the site and the inbox can function. They act on our instructions for that purpose. We do not share enquiry contents with advertisers, and we do not publish client names.
If you ask us to coordinate with your lawyer or accountant, we share only what you asked us to share, with the person you named.
Where it is handled
The practice is in the Republic of Moldova. Hosting and email providers may process technical data in other countries as part of running those services. We do not transfer data for advertising.
Your choices
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete an enquiry that did not become an engagement. You may object to a use that is not required to answer you or to perform an engagement. Email [email protected] and we will respond.
You may also complain to the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova. Cookie choices can be changed at any time on the Cookie Settings section of the Cookie Policy.
Children
The desk serves organizations, not children. The site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change, and the page you are reading is the current version. We will not apply a silent change to a different practice while leaving this text in place.
